Role Overview
We are looking for a hands‑on ERPNext Project Manager with strong techno‑functional expertise who can independently manage ERPNext implementations from discovery to go‑live. The role also involves pre‑sales engagement, solutioning, and customer interaction. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys ownership, client interaction, and building scalable ERP solutions rather than just managing plans on paper.
Key Responsibilities
ERPNext Project Delivery
- Lead end‑to‑end ERPNext implementations including requirement gathering, solution design, configuration, testing, go‑live, and post‑implementation support
- Manage scope, timelines, and deliverables across multiple projects
- Act as the primary point of contact for customers during implementation
- Ensure adoption of standard ERPNext best practices with minimal customisation
Techno‑Functional Ownership
- Conduct business process analysis and map them to ERPNext modules
- Configure core ERPNext modules such as:
- Accounting & Finance
- Buying, Selling & Inventory
- Manufacturing / Projects / Services (based on client industry)
- Review functional specifications and guide technical teams on customisation where required
Pre‑Sales & Solutioning
- Participate in pre‑sales discussions with prospective clients
- Perform requirement discovery and propose high‑level solution approaches
- Support ERPNext demos, effort estimation, and scope definition
- Assist sales teams with technical clarifications and feasibility inputs
Project & Client Management
- Plan milestones, conduct review meetings, and track risks/issues
- Handle change requests and manage client expectations effectively
- Coordinate with internal consultants, developers, and support teams
- Ensure high customer satisfaction and successful project closures
Required Qualifications & Experience
Education
- BE / BTech / MCA / BCA / MBA (Operations / Systems preferred)
(Relevant experience is more important than formal qualifications)
Experience
- 5–8 years of total experience
- 3+ years of hands‑on experience with ERPNext implementations
- Successfully completed multiple full‑cycle ERPNext projects
- Experience working with SMEs or mid‑market clients preferred
Required Skills
Must‑Have
- Strong ERPNext techno‑functional expertise
- Solid understanding of business processes across Finance, Operations, and Supply Chain
- Excellent client communication and stakeholder management skills
- Working knowledge of ERPNext configuration and customisation approach
Good to Have
- Exposure to ERPNext development concepts (scripts, workflows, custom fields)
- Pre‑sales or solution consulting experience
- Experience in consulting or implementation partner environments
