Seamless Walkaroo DMS–Tally Integration

is a leading Indian footwear brand established in 2014, is known for its stylish and comfortable footwear designed for people on the move. With a rapidly expanding distributor network, Walkaroo needed a unified mechanism to synchronize day‑to‑day product, sales, stock, and retailer data across its DMS and distributor Tally environments 

Walkaroo relied heavily on its distributors to manage orders, sales, and inventory, but several key challenges emerged:

• Manual processes for posting Pick Slips, Sales Returns, Purchase Invoices,      and retailer data into Tally. 
• Delayed visibility of stock and sales movement across distributor locations.
• High dependency on manual data entry resulting in inconsistencies.
• Scalability concerns as distributor volume and SKU count increased.

To overcome these limitations, Walkaroo sought an automated, API-driven integration between Walkaroo DMS ↔ Mazeworks DCM ↔ Tally ERP/Prime.

Mazeworks delivered a fully automated Distribution Channel Management (DCM) solution integrating Walkaroo DMS with distributor Tally systems. The solution consisted of:

1. Tally Customization & Add‑Ons

• Custom      TDL components to receive and post vouchers (Pick Slip, GRN, Sales Return)      directly via APIs.
• Automated      master creation: Products, Retailers, UOMs, Price Lists synced via      Walkaroo DMS
• Configurable      item receipt modes (Case/Loose) within Tally TCP.

2. API-Based Bidirectional Integration

• Scheduled      sync every 15 minutes between Walkaroo DMS and Mazeworks DCM.
• Tally      users could trigger upload/download through a custom menu or scheduler.
• All      transactions posted into Tally as Optional Vouchers for validation.

3. Centralized Web Application

• Unified      dashboard for monitoring distributor-level sales and purchase transaction      flow.
• Support      for voucher download/alteration directly from DMS into Tally (Pick Slip,      GRN, Sales Return). 

4. Proof of Concept + Phased Rollout

• POC      implemented for one distributor before the all‑India rollout.
• Deployment      scaled quickly across distributors with remote installation and training.
